The winner of our Best Picture of the Month Competition is Brian Larson at the 20th Century Fox headquarters in Century City, Los Angeles (also known as the Nakatomi Plaza featured in Die Hard) Brian writes: ‘I dropped by Nakatomi Plaza today for their annual Christmas Eve shindig … I heard their parties really blow the roof off the joint. At first I was worried that I was too early, but I swear I heard someone yell, “Welcome to the party, pal!” from several floors up.’

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! View our FESTIVERANGE for some alternative seasonal gift ideas this year, including apparel inspired by Die Hard, Trading Places, Gremlins, It’s a Wonderful Life, Home Alone and Scrooged.
Time Out London included us in their Christmas Gift Guide this year:
“The competition to sport the most obscure movie reference on a T-shirt steps up another notch with this ‘Jaws’-themed garment advertising the island of Amity’s 1975 sailing regatta. Suggested drinking game: wear it down the pub and buy a pint for anyone who actually gets it.”
“Even a crazed axe-murderer needs a nice cup of tea every once in a while. Fans of Stanley Kubricks’s bizarro horror movie will love this mug, adorned with samples from popular author Jack Torrance’s bestseller-in-progress.”
Last Exit to Nowhere got a mention in the prestigious The Sunday Business Post recently:
“The British collective of artists and designers produce unique hand-printed T-shirts that pay homage to classic characters, companies and places in cinema history, from the Overlook Hotel to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. These are for the true movie geek who revels in esoteric references (the more obscure the better) which only the cognoscenti will get.”
Wow! We get a mention in the gift guide section of Playboy Magazine (Poland) this month. Using Google we translated the text:
“Of all the companies that produce t-shirts, my heart was stolen long ago by the boys from Great Britain, Last Exit to Nowhere. This year, in my wardrobe, there will appear a t-shirt from Christine, a T-shirt from Back to the Future and a hooded top from The Thing.”

Garments may shrink slightly in the first wash. Colours should be colourfast but we always recommend washing like colours together in case of colour run. Wash our garments inside out on a cool wash (no more than 30 degrees) and line dry. If you tumble dry them they will shrink. Wipe caps with a damp sponge. Avoid getting them too wet.
