Best Picture December 09
Michael Robinson from Washington DC wins our Best Picture of December competition with this faithfully recreated image inspired by the last scene in The Shining. Michael had this to say about creating the image: “The DC area is currently getting what the news is calling “The areas biggest snowfall in 100 years (in December),” my mother-in-law is referring to as “The Apocalypse,” and my friends in Wisconsin are describing as “flurries.” So I decided that I should suffer to get a best picture entry. Went outside, plopped down in the snow, and waited for a while to have my wife come out and get the shot. And now I am attempting to warm up.“
If you have any ideas you’d like to submit for our January competition, then send them in to us to: info@lastexittonowhere.com for a chance to win. Good luck and thanks to all that entered this month.
